FBSprivat Update February 2019

by iRFP Support

At the beginning of the new year, an updated version of FBSprivat has now been published. The FBSprivat February 2019 edition again contains a large number of innovations, of which we can only give you a brief excerpt here:

  • Train transfer : Trains can also be transferred between networks with disjoint periods, including the special case that the target period is undefined. The traffic days will be adjusted to the current period, if necessary the system will ask for confirmation.
  • The calendar offers (once again) the functions "Copy from...", with which a period (including holidays, VTx etc.) can be taken over from another net into the current one, right mouse button on "Restrict period" or on start/end date --> "Change period",  right mouse button --> "Show usage" or repeated click on the button "Show usage" shows the complete list of elements.
  • Infrastructure - Speed profiles: Macro speed profiles are an alternative to enumerating multiple speed profiles on the train. They have been possible in FBS for many years, but not in iPLAN graphic timetables so far. For advantages and disadvantages of using macro profiles and multiple profiles on the train see also http://www.en.irfp.de/faq-english/20570e.html
  • Arrivals and Departures poster: Level and train group support
  • Arrivals & Departures poster: Additional option for marking low-floor carriages with wheelchair symbol
  • Import and export of connections: Connections can now be imported and exported "inline" (integrated in iPLAN). The operation has remained unchanged, but one column each for the level, train groups and arrow display of the connections have been added.
  • and much more.

The extended program version is available for loading via the integrated update function. The update function can be found in the FBS start window under Service and Troubleshooting --> check for updates.

Please note that the update is only available for users of the new FBSprivat version purchased as of August 2017.
